Discussion:

I personally find this novel to be fiction, thriller, and a tad mysterious. There are moments where you question people’s motives, their choices, and what is truly happening in the story (past or present). I believe that a novel under the adrenaline genre will make the reader at some point feel like they are uncovering a mystery that they shouldn’t have any knowledge about. The dramatic irony will make the reader bite their fingernails, pace their living room, sit on the edge of their seat in anticipation of the characters finding out the truth. I find this genre can allow for uneasy feelings that will affect the way your thoughts unravel even after the reader has finished the book. If the reader enjoys an impressionable ending that may not be warm and fuzzy, this is the genre for you. The story starts slower and begins to pick up speed throughout the book until it hits you in the face.
