Ware, R. (2016). The woman in cabin 10. Simon & Schuster.

Lo Blacklock is setting sail on the maiden voyage of an elite cruise ship, the Aurora, for her job as a travel journalist. What she believes will be a luxurious week upon the ship with a handful of other guests takes a turn when Lo hears the woman in the cabin next to hers fall overboard one night. As she tries to find help, she discovers that Cabin 10 has not been occupied the entire trip, and the woman from the cabin Lo met the day before does not exist. A suspenseful thriller that will leave you questioning what and who you should believe. For those who love to be kept on the edge of their seat, or anyone searching for an atmospheric, claustrophobic read.

In my experience, people typically know whether they enjoy reading thrillers or not. Those who do read thrillers tend to enjoy the suspense, the mystery, and the fast-paced nature of this genre. I think having a wide selection of thrillers readily available within a library would be helpful. A display could be made that highlights subgenres within thriller as well, such as: stating which books could be read by a younger crowd; some classics or well-known thrillers; short reads that could be taken on vacation or picked up as a beach read, etc. It will also be important to have new releases available for fans of the genre who will want to read the newest from their favourite authors and may have read most of what the library offers already. Libraries could also keep up on trends or popular authors and books that are being borrowed frequently, and maybe look at having those books available in multiple formats, such as print, ebooks, and audiobooks, for patrons.
